Dianna - May Rockstar of the Month!

In April of 2021 we took pictures for my son's engagement. Those pictures kicked me into deciding I needed to focus on getting back to my weight prior to when I quit smoking. I had gained 25-30 pounds in the 5 years since I quit, I had tired to lose it during that time and joined a gym however, twice at that gym I injured a vertebra in my back. I had never lifted weights before and was not properly trained. My weight loss journey did not go well from there and I gave up until I saw those pictures and knew I did not want to present like that at his wedding. I have had a "pudgy" tummy my entire life. I grew up in the 70's with all my girlfriends being sticks and me being jealous. Which lead me to a life of starving and fad diets.


I started looking for a new gym or weight loss coach and I noticed on facebook somebody talking about Revolution Fitness. I set up a meet with coach Steph in April of 2021. I signed up the next day. I could barely lift any weights and my core was non-existent. She took it nice and slow with me and is so patient. She suggested using a bench for burpees and only a PVC pipe for weight workouts until I was ready. Today I am lifting weights and I can actually get my head off the ground on a sit up lol! I also had help with my diet and today I am down 20 lbs. My goal was 30 and the last 10 I am struggling with but overall, I am so much stronger. My legs used to hurt all the time from my back injury, and I couldn't walk for a few second after I stood up, since I started working out that has gotten so much better. I am so happy that I meet Steph and her gym family it was exactly what I was looking for and I needed!
